Today, Raquel, Haiko and I are at the "Real Club de Golf Guadalmina”, the home course of the Dana family. I have longed to try my luck here and we have chosen the South Course, a PGA course. My chances against Haiko on this course couldn’t be lower, but since he has played this course this morning in a tournament scoring 80, I am hoping he will get tired quickly.
| Par 4 | Men's 357 Meters |
| Handicap 11 | Ladies 339 Meters |
The start to this course is a great hole par 4, with a wide fairway awaiting our tee shots. There are 2 bunkers on the left of the fairway to avoid at 210 meters, and a bunker on the right further down the fairway. Haiko thrashes his ball off the tee and finishes to the right before the third bunker. My tee shot goes straight, too far to the right and lies down comfortably between the first trees on the fairway, but with my 5 iron I manage to get close to the green. The greens are fast, too fast for me, and I need three putts to finish the hole. Haiko continues to play consistently and safely finishes with a par.
