Preface:
Today we start our project, "Golf in andaluz.tv", and among all the participating team certain nervousness is felt. This is the first round of a long journey taking us to the golf courses in Andalucía. andaluz.tv hopes that all readers will enjoy reading our informative and amusing reports, and from the perspective of an ambitious amateur player, the roller coaster of feelings experienced on the course.

Hole 1
What a start. The 1st Hole welcomes us with a water hazard, 30 meters from the tee, which must be overcome. The green is easily visible, the bunker left of the green advises us to aim to the right side, particularly because the area on the left falls away strongly. Haiko attacks confidently with his pitching wedge and hits his ball on the green. I hesitate, 8 iron or 9 iron, and in my mind the increasing thought of water is not helping my self confidence. I follow the advice of our PGA professional coach, Raquel, and take an 8 iron for security and hit my ball ... in the bunker. The well-groomed bunker offers no difficulties and I manage to save Par. Haiko also gets his Par.
