“Open for Business Málaga.”

The Townhall of Málaga signed today a collaboration agreement with the University of Málaga, the Chamber of Commerce, the Businessmen’s Guild, the Tecnical College of Andalucia, the Department of Industry & Navigation for Málaga Province and the Málaga Valley Club, in order to promote the attractions of the city of Málaga in other countries.
The campaign has been named “Open for Business Málaga.”

The webpage that the Mayor presented last year was the first step of the campaign and this collaboration agreement with oficial institutions already dealing with other countries is very significant. In the agreement is highlighted projects & initiatives to increase the international image of Málaga.
Attending the signing of the agreement was the Mayor of Málaga, D. Francisco de la Torre, the director of Investigation & Transfer of Málaga University, D. Víctor Fernando Muñoz Martínez, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, D. Jerónimo Pérez Casero, the director of the Tecnical College of Andalucia, D. Felipe Romera Lubias, the president of the Málaga Businessmens Guild, D. Vicente García Martín and the vicepresident of the Málaga Valley Club, D. Juan Soto Serrano.

Taking advantage of the occasion was the director of the Office of International Development, Mr. Marc Sanderson who presented the logo for the campaign “Open for Business Málaga.”

This collaborating agreement & the campaign “Open for Business Málaga” are important steps that will ensure Málaga will be seen internationally as a City with a recognised & prestigious business centre, with a high level of University education and with a very important cultural package.
