Saturday 24th of July 2010, in the famous Nikki Beach Club in Marbella, the theme of the day, THE CHAMPAGNE WORLD TOUR PARTY, an event in which the contestants consuming the most champagne are proclaimed the champion. The partipants coming from different groups of the World Jet Set. Numerous cases of champagne are ordered & then they spray and shower each other the same as they do at the end of a Formula 1 Championship. Inevitably a lot of the liquid finds it’s way into the mouths eventually causing difficulty in speaking & in some cases causing the brain’s hard disc to misfunction completely. The numerous beautiful girls egg on the tough guys to order more & more. A simple & obviously very acceptable business idea takes it’s course for the afternoon. Sun, suntanned girls & lots of wealthy gentlemen from all over the world.

It appears that most of the people here are from Eastern Europe, but the Scandinavians are not missing the occasion, and it shows how advanced is Norway within the EU. In just two minutes 100 bottles are rapidly consumed. It’s imposible to capture with the cámara how many more bottles are being opened, the sound of exploding corks is coming from everywhere.

Yesterday, any participating client had to pay to begin with 12 euros for the parking, then 75 euros entrance fee & each bottle of TAITTINGER costs 110 euros, served!! Anyone preferring a Red Bull, only had to pay 8,50 euros.

Absolute paradise for the team from RTL Explosiv who accompanied us. Also RTL Exklusiv were seen filming the festival & it will very intersting to see how each one will finally report the spectacle.

Whether this event is interpreted as sheer decadence or the best form partying, one thing is clear, Marbella is & will always be the Hotspot for all experiencies. Marbella is a casino, in which in exchange for money you can get absolutely everything. Marbella is the meeting place for the vain & the old Roman Emperors would surely be very envious of the people at this festival. Without doubt the Emperor Caligula would have changed his headquarters to Marbella.
