On Thursday evening at 10 pm, the Malaga buoy reported a maximum wave height of 7,76 metres. This morning at 4 am, heights of 6,5 metres. The average height of the waves currently amounts 4,14 metres.

The waves are pushing the water up to the promenade at the beaches of La Misericordia, San Andres and Huelin (Malaga), even though the beach is quite broad with 50 metres. Numerous chiringuitos are flooded, the basements are under water. The wind is lashing with more than 50 km/h across the coast.

The cruise ship Norwegian Epic, with 5,000 passengers on board, is stuck off the shore of Malaga and can't sail into the harbour since the pilot boat is not able to pull out.

On today's Friday, an orange warning level has been issued again. The waves and storm will be ruling the day and make sure that there are more damages.
